Rides for 2008

Click here to go to see our calendar of upcoming rides and events for 2008.  Also, please see the forum topic "2008 Riding Schedule" under the Announcements and/or General heading.

The Forum will have more detailed info on meet times and locations for organized rides as the date gets closer.  Also, impromptu rides will be posted here.  Please feel free to log on to the forum and introduce yourself.  Delphi Forums have free accounts as well as paid accounts that have more features for users, like being able to post photos, etc.

Arizona Road Conditions

ADOT has current info regarding freeway and ramp closures in Maricopa County at their website.  Also, US Dept. of Transporation has state-wide road conditions and construction projects going on right now.

Arizona Weather

Weather here in Arizona can change in the blink of an eye, so it's good to know if there's a storm blowing your way or if the wind is going to be kicking up later in the day. Arizona : Weather Underground has temp, wind, and overall weather conditions statewide and city specific.  It's helpful to know what the conditions are ahead of time before you head up north, too, where the weather can be drastically different from the Maricopa County region.  If you don't believe us, click here to see what we mean: Nature's Way.

Group Riding Tips

Please read our Group Ride Rules if you've never been in a large group ride before.  It's a little bit different than riding with one or two other bikers, for sure.

Safety Tips

We have a few basic Safety Tips that are good to know.  Better safe than sorry, we always say.  Or wait, is it, a pound of prevention is worth a pound of cure?  I forget now.  Either way, we like to be able to ride another day so don't push the envelope speed wise or stunt wise.  Road rash takes a long time to heal - 'nuf said.
