What's New?I

Visit this Kodak Gallery album of photos from the last Adopt-a-Highway trash pickup that the DZ's did in April of this year.

Also, here are some pics from the April '08 ride through Skull Valley to Prescott.

Ride Schedule

Meeting times and details for organized rides can be found on the calendar as well as our Delphi Forum.

Where & When We Meet

Where: New meeting place for the DZ's (as of the August 11th meeting) will be The Armadillo Grill, 1904 E. Camelback Rd.  Here's a map to help you find it.

When: Second Monday evening of every month. The meetings officially start at 6:30 p.m., but please get there a little earlier to order food and socialize.

At our monthly meetings we discuss current business, upcoming rides, safety tips, and do a 50/50 raffle to help support the club since we do not have dues.  If anyone is so inclined and doesn't mind speaking in front of our group, we love to hear ride reports and about new places to ride to and see.  Occasionally we will have guest speakers come visit and give a talk about motorcycle-related topics.

New prospective members are welcome to attend three meetings before requiring to join WOW®.  Because we are a WOW® chapter, members of our group must also be members of WOW®.

Also, we meet informally every Sunday morning at the Starbucks in Phoenix at Central and Earl.  Come on by and say Hi!

About the Desert Zephyrs

What is a Desert Zephyr you may ask?  A zephyr is a wind that comes out of the west, a common event in the Arizona desert.  A Desert Zephyr is a woman who loves to ride her motorcycle in the beautiful Sonoran Desert of Arizona, as well as the piney mountains to the northeast, and to the scenic Grand Canyon, and . . . well, we've just got a lot of great places to ride around here, and fantastic weather to do it in (most of the time anway).

The Desert Zephyrs, or DZ's as we like to call ourselves, meet for organized group rides twice a month and coffee almost every Sunday morning.  Please feel free to explore our website and find out more about us, Women on Wheels®, and where we like to ride around this awesome state we live in.
